The Ampersand is a permanent public artwork situated on Front & York’s extended, 30-foot sidewalk. It is designed to bring the mixed-use development’s new plaza-like pedestrian experience to life.
Its design is straightforward and uncomplicated: an XL letterform that represents connection, serving as an iconic and inclusive reference point to anchor the growing neighborhood.
